Business Development Specialist (m/f)

Your Tasks/Ihre Aufgaben:

  • Business Development with focus on Fine Chemicals and intermediates markets
  • Meet annual sales targets and achieve growth in line with long term business plan
  • Develop a close relationship with customers and stakeholders at all levels, including discovery, R&D, and purchasing functions
  • Develop a business strategy to profitably sell fine chemicals in the territory in line with global policies and achieve sustainable growth in line company expectations, with main focus on pharmaceutical markets
  • Develop and manage the annual sales budget, revised annual sales budget, monthly sales report and executive report by request
  • Prepare reports requested by management
  • Generate and promptly report information acquired from customers/markets, on competitors, new products, and other public information
  • Travel to customers with Marketing, business and other company members as required

Your Profile/Ihr Profil:

  • PhD in Chemistry or similar
  • Strong communication skills at all levels
  • Sound knowledge of ERP Systems (such as SAP)
  • Fluent English and German language
  • Intercultural competence
