Your Mission:

Our client is one of the the market leaders in the field of High Performance Chemicals and is now seeking YOU as Public Affairs Specialist for their European wide Public Affairs activities. Your mission is to coordinate/manage  Public Affairs/Regulatory related challenges 

Your Tasks:

Strategy development and planning for certain issues with Public Affairs team as well as other relevant advocacy community; implementation of these in our client’s own initiatives and/or industry associations
Stay connected to major sources of information from regulatory bodies and from industry associations
Monitor moves by the authorities and legislators, and exchange regularly information with Legal and Compliance Department as well as Regulatory Affairs Department
Attend and (where relevant) represent our client in meetings or calls of industry associations or any other events or gathering that is relevant to their duties in Europe.
Participate in meetings with Industry associations and with governmental bodies
Establish a network of contacts within European and national relevant regulatory bodies as well as within the Industrial community.

Your Profile: 

University degree in Business Administration, Business Law or similar
A creative thinking, problem-solving mind-set, hands-on attitude
First working experience in public/regulatory/legal affairs related functions
Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
Fluent in English, German and ideally French language
