Your Mission:

Our client is one of the the market leaders in the field of High Performance Chemicals and is now seeking YOU as Procurement Manager. Your mission is to organize and lead the planning and implementation of a strategic plan to procure key raw materials from the global market.

Your Tasks:

Planning and execution of mid/long-term procurement and sourcing strategy (with a view of delivering targets set forth in mid/long term strategy forward to 2025 and 2030) for key raw materials at EU production site with cooperation/coordination with global planning and procurement/purchasing teams
Carefully observe market trends such as pricing and statistical data etc related to procurement, share information with related departments globally, set issues of BCP (Business Continuity Plan), and plan and implement countermeasures inc, mid/long-term strategy.
Support the purchasing teams at each EU production site in implementing short- and medium-term procurement from a BCP perspective.
Act as a point of contact for cooperation and alliances with business partners for our key raw materials.

Your Profile: 

University degree in Chemistry, Engineering or Business Administration
Relevant working experience in above mentioned function
The “Certified Professional in Supply Management” Certificate is desired
Strong result orientation, teamwork and organizational capabilities
Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
Fluent in English and German
