As a Public Affairs Specialist you will be engaged in activities needed throughout Europe to understand and influence the relevant European regulations and/or standards, with the aim to protect and maximise the benefit for existing and future businesses

Your Tasks:

Stay connected to major sources of information from regulatory bodies and from professional associations to identify most important regulation/standard (current or future) and opportunities together with Legal & Compliance Department
Information sharing with  relevant local businesses (incl. sister companies) through document and/or face-to-face meeting in Europe on the regular basis and the global advocacy community for further development of advocacy strategy

Strategy Development & Implementation:
Establishment of advocacy strategy in Europe
Establishing a network of contacts within European and national relevant regulatory bodies as well as within the industrial community
Representing  the company at industry associations and conferences relevant to Europe

Internal coordination:
Organisation of the monthly advocacy meeting to understand the overview of advocacy activities for the company in Europe
Coordination with other divisions in Europe in various industrial associations 

Your Profile:

Study in field such as law, business law, political sciences or equivalent
Strong communication skills at all levels
Good analyzing skills and ability to formulate strategic plans
Strong Intercultural competence
