Your Mission:
Our client is an internationally renowned Automotive supplier and is one of the leading companies in the world for State of the Art Air Conditioning Technology. For their EU HQ close to Frankfurt am Main we are now seeking you as Senior Accountant for controlling and verifying their financial transactions and support group reports/local German GAP report.

Your Tasks:
– Posting all German office related items in SAP (Salary, Fixed assets, Provision, tax, ect).
– Supervise the daily invoices posting in German office, ensuring the invoices are suitably authorized internally and postings are inline with the German and IFS accounting policy.
– Supervise the travel expenses journals, ensuring they are supported with evidence and comply with internal controls.
– Maintain Bank relationship, including Admin users, credit card management, ect.
– Manage the key related expense items and Accural balance schedule follow-up, ensuring they are well controlled by following the internal accrual and release regulations.
– Monthly reconciliation of cash books to the General Ledger, ensuring all entries are posted and assist the cash management.
– Supervise Monthly reconciliation of Intercompany accounts
– Monthly Profit & Loss account reconciliations to be completed, ensuring they have suitable descriptions to support VAT and German corporate Tax audits.
– To assist Monthly/Quartely/Yearly closure and finance reports preparation.
– Prepare the Monthly German bank reporting.
– To assist the yearly German GAP report preparation and reconciliation between IRS and German GAAP, contact with Auditors/ Advisors as required.
– To assist the Quartely Finance Audit and Jsox Audit, contact with Auditors as required.
Your Profile:
– Commercial study (Bachelor/Master)
– Relevant working experience in above mentioned function
– Very Good Knowledge of German accounting and tax regulations, IFRS standards
– Strong analytical and problem solving skills
– Strong result orientation, teamwork and organisational capabilities
– Fluent English language skills
