Overview:
An international automotive parts supplier with production sites in Europe and the USA is looking to add to its Finance & Accounting team in Munich. This position offers a great first step into internal auditing for a Japanese-speaking individual with an analytical mindset, an interest in finance, and attention to detail.
Your tasks:
– Develop basic audit policies
– Prepare an audit plan for business operations
– Conduct internal audits and report on results and potential improvements
– Carry out fraud investigations
– Cooperate with auditors from the Japanese headquarters
– Manage and archive audit-related document
– Work closely with the J-SOX Office in Japan
– Support J-SOX assessments (internal control over financial reporting)
– Support external audit procedures
– Take on special assignments
Your profile:
– No prior experience in an audit department required, but interest in auditing, J-SOX and process improvements is essential
– Minimum of 2 years’ general business experience, ideally in manufacturing
– University degree or equivalent qualification
– Strong communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholders
– Team player with initiative, flexibility, hands-on mentality and a positive attitude
– Trustworthy, reliable, detail-oriented and well organised
– Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel
– Excellent English and Japanese language skills for communication with the head office in Japan
